The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has taken disciplinary action against a Central Office employee over alleged involvement in an irregular motor vehicle transfer of ownership transaction.
The agency confirmed that a Formal Charge and a 90-day preventive suspension have been issued against an employee serving as Administrative Aide III (Driver), following the results of an internal investigation.

The case stems from an investigation report signed by LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao, which revealed possible violations linked to an unauthorized transaction.
