The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Central Office has ordered a comprehensive investigation into alleged corruption within LTO Region 7. The move follows troubling reports that prompted immediate action from the agency’s leadership.
The directive was issued by LTO Chief and Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao, after strong statements from Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Giovanni Lopez, who expressed serious concern over the emerging allegations.
